Welcome to our Christmas 2021 family room!

The theme this Christmas in the family room is...... Believe in the Magic of Christmas

I love the little sofa table ledge that H built me earlier this year.     It is so much fun to decorate for seasons and holidays.

The centerpiece for the ledge is a white enamal sled with Santa at the reins 

Instead of Santa wearing his  traditional red suit,   he chose to go Farmhouse style and wear a black and white buffalo check suit this year. 

The color scheme for this years Christmas family room is pink &  blue  with just splashes of red and green scattered around.

I made my vintage ornament wreaths several years ago and have featured them almost every year in one room or another

This year,   I added a sweet snowman to my wreath......

I hung the matching wreath on the other side of the ledge......

The lanterns I have sitting on each end of the ledge are recent gifts from my sweet DIL.   

The snowman prints that you see me using in my

I am generously scattering live pink poinsettia plants around our home this season.    I haven't had a chance to get some fresh greens to use as well,   but when I do,    the house will smell just like Christmas!

I haven't decorated the tree yet......Ive never been this far behind in my Christmas decorating before!   I am beginning to just enjoy the glow of the lights so maybe I'll just add a few ornaments and let the tree and lights be the "star" this Christmas!
