There is a small dining area in our family room that is just perfect for casual dining.... |

I have an eclectic mixture of seating....2 velvet Victorian chairs, 2 very countryfied white wooden chairs, and a deconstructed sofa ........ |

I used a very unique "container" to create my Thanksgiving centerpiece on. The silver turkey head & tail are attached to a carving board that doubles as a charcuterie board.... |

I designed a simple arrangement on the board using pumpkins & roses.... |

After dinner I love to lounge on the deconstructed sofa with a glass of wine.... |

We can enjoy the lights on the pink tree's at Thanksgiving.....then I will do some serious Christmas decorating!!! |

It's lovely. Love the pink trees. I have liked all your fall and thanksgiving decorations.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink trees!!!
ReplyDeletethat is such a cool board and I love your mix/match seating. Makes this spot really flexible and like you say super for an everyday meal. Sandi
ReplyDeleteSo creative! Thanks for sharing with us at the Homestead Blog Hop.
ReplyDeletePenny, your dining area is lovely with all the different chairs! I was too sick last summer (2024) but I passed by a sofa very similar to your deconstructed one. I almost stopped to try and load it in our truck... It was raining, too. I wish I had because I would love to have done some furniture work again as I feel better this year. (Going to endocrinologist next, possible Hashimoto's). Anyway, happy to share your lovely pumpkin and centerpiece at this week's Share Your Style #475 for you. <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday,
Barb :)
What a unique piece, Penny ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your turkey carving board at Create, Bake, Grow & Gather this week.
I'm delighted to be featuring it at today's party and pinning too.
