Decorating for Memorial Day

Today, I'm sharing how I've began decorating my kitchen for the upcoming Patriotic Holidays...... starting with Memorial Day......

I've decorated the kitchen counters with pastel vignettes in a style that I like to call "the softer side of Patriotic decor" .....Then, I scattered vignettes around the kitchen with bright pops of color like the one you see on the sink cover.... 

  Memorial Day cookies are being served at the Henhouse Bakery.....

And of course,  you can't serve cookies without coffee!

I added a Memorial Day print to the vignette in this section of the kitchen counter  ...

 

 

A Patriotic pillow, a bowl of strawberries, a piece of pie, & a Flag Rooster adds a pop of color 

to this corner of the kitchen

I plan to add 4th of July & Labor Day vignettes to the kitchen
over the next few weeks.....
