ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. The flu that is going around really takes a lot out of a person so it is good to hear that you have recovered and are up and about.
LOVE all of this wonderful lace!!! Beautiful!
I have been getting bags of goodies from time to time from a fellow crafter who goes to our church who is cleaning out her stash. She said it either goes to me or to Salvation Army so I have gotten lace, ribbon roses, trims , wreaths and all kinds of goodies from her. It is so kind of her to pass them my way...
Now I need time to be able to do something with them.... LOL!!
Take care and I hope you continue to feel better...
Hugs,
Deb

Wow, you got a great lot with that lace. Almost two years ago, when I was visiting in Maine, I went to an antique auction and won the bid on some great vintage and antique lace and crochet. I was so excited and am still enjoying it so I know how exciting that win was for you. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Penny, what a lovely treasure trove. I find it incredulous the prices you pay over there in the US for such treasures. We would be paying 100's for something like that here :( Can't wait to see what you make with it all. x
ReplyDeleteYou hit the jackpot with all that pretty lace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous buy! I can imagine all kinds of pretty sewing projects! I love your blog so much. I'm going to add it to my blog favs! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and wonderful win! It's like Christmas just sitting down and going through all of this beautiful lace! I am a bit of a lace and trim hog myself. LOL I was just talking to a girlfriend earlier today because she is trying to finish a project and ran out of lace. She is stopping by later to try and match her lace to all of mine. We actually met when we both worked at JoAnn Fabrics. We even were roommates at one time. You should have seen our apartment...fabric, lace, trims everywhere all the time and two sewing machines were always set up on your dining room table! I hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous lace ( I especially love the turquoise one - you don't see that in lace very often!!! )
ReplyDeleteWhat a score :)
Hugs,
Suzan
