SO....I borrowed some of his stash and put together a vignette on the desk that is in the sun room. |
The little black typewriter on the top shelf is a travel style and folds over to pack in a suitcase. |
This is an old electric typewriter that I painted the blue on it...pink of course.... |
and left the keyboard cover the original aqua. You may remember seeing this old typewriter out on the patio a couple of weeks ago. It was sitting on a wicker desk. |
H bought this old notary stamp at the auction. |
The old stamp pads are hard to find, most of them were thrown away when they dried up. |
This is a close up of the vintage chenille spread that is hung by the desk. |
I know I've said it before, but I just love to stop by and see your creative display ideas, all the ideas you share with us. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent collection!! The typewriters are so unique in their own way! My heart loves pink but that black corona is something else!! LOVE it! Blessings~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteYour display is lovely! I think you should be a professional window dresser! And those typewriters? I can't help but feel nostalgic when I see them!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun- A pink typewriter. Well, if I can paint a TV white why can't you paint a typewriter pink? You are just so fun, Penny- xo Diana

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove all of these wonderful vintage pieces!! I think it is fantastic that H. has his own collections... Joe only collects old lottery tickets..... LOL!!
A truly fantastic collection.
We had 2 inches of rain yesterday in 5 hours!! Flash flooding all over but I am up a a huge hill so that would never happen to us. Pictures of our area were on GMA this morning....
I am still working in my guest room. I am moving a bit slower as I tripped and fell yesterday while moving things in and out of the craft room and guest room. I landed on my right hip and Thank God it was not my knee and that I still have quite a bit of padding on my butt!! LOL!!
Just sore though today...
Good luck with your yard sale ... Wish I could come to it as I am sure i would be filling our SUV with all of your great things!!
Hugs,
Deb
