Yard Sale Treasures

There weren't any auctions this past week end, but there were quite a few good yard sales.   I bought this beautiful comforter set for $10!    It is in great condition, no stains or tears and it washed up beautifully.
Here is the before and after...I think the new bedspread gave the room more of a summer feel.
It was a full /queen  (leaning more to the full size)  so I put the rose bedskirt over the existing crocheted one.

It had two over sized pillow shams and I decided to use them as cloths on the end tables. (vintage sewing machines)

I bought another comforter set for $10 at a different sale that I will show you later!

I found this window for $3.   I already have it hung outside and almost forgot to get a before picture.  Try to picture it without the fabric behind it...lol!  I am going to add a few more flowers and then I will show you the finished window and where I hung it.

Here are the rest of the yard sale treasures......

This sweet little Christmas cup had never been opened ...can you see the plastic wrap?  It was still marked...

14.99....my price .50!  I bought it where I got the window you saw earlier.

This tub of vintage door knobs was $5...

It has 6 glass knobs, a pink one, a couple of black ones and some assorted other hardware.

This box of Christmas ornies was only $1

Have a great week....til next time...
