Decorating with Vintage China

Dishes  are one of my favorite things to collect.....can't pass a lovely vintage plate or tea cup without buying it....lol!
I have been having fun gluing some of my collection together to make decorator  pieces       Here I have glued a large....really large....platter and three coordinating tea cups together.

You can see how big the platter actually is in this photo.    I will be able to use it as a back drop in some of my vignettes.

I have a cute bunny couple serving breakfast this morning......biscotti, coffee and some fresh orange juice,  oops....don't have the juice in the pitcher yet!

Last Easter my bunny couple was in the entry way

The sun is out today......YEA....this is going to be a good day!

  8. Enjoying all your delish decor--clever with the teacups on the platter. But, I struggle with making such a permanent change to the original pieces. Love re-purposing, but that first spot of glue or cut of the scissor into what was for the purpose of what will be is a toughie! Visiting from Pink Saturday!
    Joy!
