Fairy Garden

It is warm here in Eastern New Mexico today...but....it is soooo windy!   Too windy to enjoy being in the yard,  so I have been playing in the green house.

I wanted to share the fairy garden that I made in the green house this afternoon....

I have a girly frog in my fairy garden and she is sitting on a stack of floral frogs....tehee!

The container that I chose for my fairy garden is an old enamel sink that H married to a vintage metal sewing machine stand.

We went to the nursery yesterday and picked up quite a few plants but it is too windy to put them out yet....so,  they will stay in the greenhouse for now.      We use containers for most of our vegetable plants......the buckets can easily be moved from the yard into the green house if we have a threat of hail !

Thanks for visiting my blog....come back soon!

  5. Love your little fairy garden, we went to our garden store yesterday and they had a whole section of fairy garden plants, so sweet. I think we here in Southern Illinois must be getting your windy weather too, we are deciding whether or not to wait a day to plant

  8. I just moved to western Washington from Roswell, and I so do not miss the wind! I'm outside all the time now.

The sink on the Singer stand is so neat. Very one-of-a-kind.
