Downton Abbey Style Hats

I bought a "lot" of  hats at the auction Saturday.    Some are Downton Abbey style....some are Kentucky Derby style.....some are what I call "church hats".

I think this gold hat would be a perfect choice to wear to the Kentucky Derby.....

This black wool hat has sequins and feathers
Which would you choose for one of the Downton Abbey ladies to wear?

All are unique in their own way.....

This pretty grey wool hat was made by the  Bollman Hat Co.

This wool hat was made by Paula's Hatbox......

JFY Collection...New York

Terramina church hat

The designer on this hat is Deborah Fashions

I don't know if it's prettier in the front.  or on the side

This 100% black wool hat is a "Ritz" made by Henry Pollack.

I used my personal wig  on the mannequin  head to model the hats....don't know if it is the right hair style for these hats,  but it's the wig I use if I'm having a bad hair day...lol!

Fantastic! We had tons of rain here this weekend...some areas got over 3 inches and there is still more to come! Good for my garden but not for my arthritis!!!

  17. Looove the hats!! What a great buy. Will you be wearing any of them? I like getting dressed up and I really wish more ladies wore hats especially to church on Easter at least, I have a few times but I don't like being the only one. So my lovely hats are stored away in their hat boxes. :(
