Rust and Roses

If you are looking for rusty stuff to add some charm to your home,  Rust and Roses is the shop you need to visit if you are ever in the Eastern New Mexico area!

Maybe this unique tree can give you some inspiration for a fun new take on your Christmas tree this year.....

Rusty springs,   muffin tins,  vintage lawn sprinklers,  old water faucets,

How about a rusty oil can?
I don't  know what that long metal thing is,  but I think it's a bicycle chain guard.    I asked the owner about the object right below it on the left and she it is an iron muzzle for a race dog.
Look at the left corner and you can get a peek of the sweet owner of Rust & Roses.

Horse shoes and a barbed wire wreath....

old strainer and burlap garland

I thought this tree was so much fun.   I would only add one more thing.....roses!

Every shop needs the front end of an old pickup......

The garlands are made right in the shop by the owner,   she also does lots of cool stuff with coffee filters.

I loved her metal scoops hung on a ladder.

I had never thought to repurpose  old heater bricks by filling them with dirt and plants.

I hope you enjoyed our stroll thru Lorraine's shop.....Rust and Roses

  9. What a fun shop Penny and I love the name! I thought that was some kind of a muzzle. I agree, roses or dried hydrangeas would be a pretty addition to this whimsical tree! Thanks for sharing it with SYC.
