Thanksgiving Tablescape and Owl Tree

I have been packing up a lot of the fall decor to make room for some Christmas decorating.    I like to put similar items in the same tote,  so I had this pile of owls ready to go in....and I had a brainstorm.    The Christmas tree was in the formal living/dining room,  but not decorated yet.

It only took about 30 minutes to put my owls on the tree.    I like the idea of having a holiday tree lit for our Thanksgiving dinner.   (The owl picture is a recent yard sale purchase...$2)

I have a few options for our Thanksgiving table decor that I want to share with you and this is the first one.

I think this is such a fun table

I have been looking for a new Thanksgiving tablecloth.....pretty pricey!    I found this moire fabric on clearance at Hobby Lobby last week and thought it would be perfect.       $12 for 3 yards....plus I had enough left over after making my tablecloth to make a table runner.

I found these cute place mats at Walmart.....$2 each

My new Mottahedeh pottery duck tureen is a recent yard sale purchase....$11

It's a shame to cover up the fox on my place mats isn't it
But ya gotta eat Thanksgiving dinner....lol

I haven't thought about the menu yet,  but we pretty well have the same food every Thanksgiving.

I have another idea for our Thanksgiving Day tablescape,  so I'll be back soon to show you!
