New Decor in the Master Bath for 2017

The master bath has been looking pretty sparce after all the Christmas was packed away and I finally got a chance to add some pretties to the counter today.

I am  sooooo ready for spring .....and I think the new decor on the bathroom counter kind of reflects my mood..lol!

I wasn't tired of the bouquet in the center of the counter but I wanted to give it a fresh look.     I took the existing arrangement out of the silver ice bucket and gave all the flowers a good cleaning.    I decided to use a "lighter look" container for my flowers and picked a pretty crystal vase.

Isn't this ceramic deer head candle holder too cute!    It's pale lilac color fits perfect in the master bath color scheme  ( $6 at Home Goods yesterday)

To make my new bouquet,   I used the same filler and pale pink roses that were in the existing floral design.    I added some  lilac peony buds,  birds,  nests and some  lilac/green floral picks

I hung a set of deer antlers on the wall behind the crystal vase to use as a towel holder

I made a floral spray from dried material and pale pink roses to go on each end of the counter

I attached my spray to a candle stick to make it stand up in the corner.

Here is the other end of the counter.

I refreshed my wooden deer head by taking out the pink flowers that were hot glued on it and replacing them with some lilac roses.    I made a crown from excelsior and baby ferns.    (the baby ferns are a recent purchase from Michaels,    I shopped the house for most of the other decor that I used.)

Spring is just around the corner!
We have about 2 inches of snow on the ground today,   but we should be back to 60's and 70's next week here in  Eastern New Mexico.

I wanted to share what I have been using for a toilet tissue holder........

I have repurposed a fern stand as a toilet tissue holder.

It will hold about 6 rolls easily!

H and I are putting the new back splash in the kitchen this afternoon......can't wait to share the new look in the kitchen with you early next week!
