Valentine Decor

The last couple of weeks I have spent most of my time organizing things around the house,,,, things always seems to get in a mess during the Christmas holidays!   No time to put things away where they go ....lol!

I took a break this afternoon to have a little fun creating a Valentine centerpiece for the  coffee table in the family room.

I chose a white shabby chic tiered stand to use as the container for the Valentine centerpiece.

   I put pearls in the bottom of two of the sections to lift the creamer and sugar above the rim.

I had found some Valentine themed stamps at Michaels the other day for 75 cents each.

I love to use my Dreamsicles as decor for Valentines Day.

I added some battery operated lights ......

Such a sweet couple.....

A Valentine post card and set of Desert Rose salt and pepper shakers.....

I created love themed vignettes on each side of the sofa.....

Lit some candles.......

Candle lights really adds romance to any room.....

 

When I was out in the studio organizing  last week,  I found a tote of flower garland that I had forgot I had     I decided to put all of them together to make a large garland to frame the window behind the sofa.

This "window wall" separates the family living/dining room from the formal living/dining room.

You can see the chandy that is over the dining table in the formal dining area.
