Valentine Tree

I constructed a tree from vintage wooden coat hangers for Christmas.    It was quite a bit of work and I really wanted to get a little more use out of it,  so I decided not to take it down after Christmas but to use it as my Valentine tree

Who knows....maybe I will use it for Easter too!

I used two honey comb Valentine baskets to give the illusion of a pot holding the tree.

Here is a close up of my tree pot....lol!

I'm going to let the pictures of the vintage Valentine cards do the talking for me this time.    Many of the cards in my collection belonged to my mother and grandmother.

If you missed the post with the details on the Valentine wreath in the hall,   here's the link to that post......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2017/01/valentine-wreath.html

See you soon!
