I have been on the hunt for a He Is Risen banner that fit my style of decorating. After weeks and weeks of searching, I decided the only way to achieve my goal was to make my own. |
I wanted my banner to have flowers in it........ |
I found an alphabet on Pinterest that had roses in the lettering, then I printed the letters that I needed and glued each letter to a white paper doily. |
The paper doilies were too fragile to run ribbon thru them to make a banner, so I clipped the doilies to a cloth with clothes pins. |
I finished off my banner with some gorgeous floral cross's |

Now for some close ups of the floral cross's |
The rose cross is my favorite.............. |
Of course, they are all lovely in their own way....... |
There is a metal board on the wall across from the window panes that I used magnets to attach some more cross's. |
I you would like to make a He Is Risen banner to use in your Easter decorating, here is a link to the site that I found my rose lettering..........http://foromanualidades.facilisimo.com/foros/decoupage/flores-y-letras-para-decoupage_688750_143.html The floral cross's can be found on my Pinterest board, here's the link to it............https://www.pinterest.com/penny2005/print-it/spring-and-easter/ |
