Before I show you the plants and the green house, I wanted to share the sweet lamb that my mother made more than 20 years ago. Here is a profile of her lamb...... |
Okay, now for the scoop on the plants and green house. |
I loved the colors in the mixed flower pot. |
Here is where we are on the green house. The flower bed in front of it is cleaned out and ready for plants. |
Here's the old headboard that H took down. He may be able to salvage some of the stuff on it....we'll see.....most of it is rotted out. |
I hope by the end of the day, some of these plants will be in the green house! |
OMG!! super like super like...
ReplyDeleteColeus is super easy to grow and if you pinch a piece off and stick it in the ground, you will have even more coleus. My husband even likes it because it's colorful! Loved hearing about all the crafty ladies in your family.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove the plants and the sweet lamb that you Mother made. I am told that my Maternal Grandmother was very crafty. She passed away when I was 2 years old. My mother and my sister never did crafts so I was self taught and picked p a lot from books and TV because I had no one to show me......
We got 3 inches of snow here yesterday but we were lucky because the majority of the snow was to the south and east of us.... Still no signs of Spring here....
Hugs,
Debbie
These photos of your spaces just make me plain happy. Thank you for putting a smile of my face and a little sunshine in my soul this morning!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the Simple Homestead Blog Hop today :)
I don't think you can have too many plants. I love the way you've styled the room and your potting shed is gorgeous.Have a great week
ReplyDeleteThat lamb is precious. Good luck with the greenhouse. The potting shed is so cute! Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
ReplyDeleteOh a room so full of plants looks fabulous! The coleus will produce little spikes of flowers but these take energy from the plant so pinch the flowers out to keep the maximum colour possible in the patterns on the leaves. #HomeMattersParty
ReplyDeleteYour lamb is the sweetness! The green house is absolutely fairy

The sun room looks beautiful with all the colorful plants. Especially like the mixed basket with purple, yellow, and white flowers. I've always loved mixing flowers of those colors. Could you tell me what flower is growing in front of the greenhouse all the way on the left with the pink flowers? It's in the picture from last summer. I love the long stems and pink color. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI love the sun room and the greenhouse! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteLove! Love! Love! Your plants look so healthy and vibrant and the space so warm and welcoming!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I love the decor in the sunroom, and the plants really add to the color. Someday I may have a greenhouse, but for now, I store my plants in our sunroom. It is not as pretty as yours. Do you anticipate it being done before summer?
ReplyDeleteI plainly love all your posts and the spring sprucing you've done push me to get moving, this year is starting slow for a lot of us because last year was exhausting with the late summer heat. I don't have the space you have but use your ideas on a smaller scale. You're the best!
