Spring Tablescape

The white iris are blooming in the garden and I couldn't resist cutting a few   ( well,  almost all of them...lol!)  to make a pretty bouquet for the table.

You can see only 1 bloom was left when I got finished cutting what I needed for my centerpiece.

I cut a few more things while I was out in the back yard......

There was a handful of pink roses in bloom,   but there were lots of buds on the bushes.

I cut some fresh mint to put in our sweet tea.

I have a big vintage grocery cart full of mint in the back yard

I set the table with some pretty herb plates

The  herb plates are a recent buy from Home Goods.......4 plastic plates for $10

If you look close in the far right of the photo,   you can see the vase of chives that I cut from my herb garden

I have a pot of dill on this end of the table to balance the vase of chives on the other end.,

I have a little metal wagon full of faux flowers on the little buffet under the window.

I can't wait to fill it full of real flowers.......

I always enjoy your visits so much ,    please come again soon!

  2. You set such a pretty table Penny for spring or even for Mothers Day. I mentioned you on my blog yesterday for Friday Favorites and Olivia's Romantic Home. Thanks for introducing us to her as I love her YouTube videos on making crafts with DT items.
Hope you have a nice weekend.

  3. Penny, I do love your white Irises and the pink tractor, How Sweet! One thing I learned this last week is don't leave purple Irises setting around on anything you don't want to have ink all over. I had a big bouquet of purple Irises on my desk at work. They were on this counter above my desk they weeped all over my paper work and on the counter, floor and everywhere. It stained the paper work, but came off everything else with wet wipes. One of my bosses said they are crying. They are so beautiful and I love them. Don't put them where they can weep on paper work.
    Have a super week.
