We moved everything out of the room, it just makes everything so much easier. |
It was really a pain to empty out the storage unit between the wash and dryer. It is in the garage now, waiting for it's makeover. |
I thought you might enjoy seeing how the utility room has evolved over the last 7 years. |
I've included a couple of photo's sharing how the utility room was decorated for some of the holidays and seasons..... |
It took about 5 gallons of paint to get all that dark wood covered up back in 2012...... |
Here's a peek inside the big wall of cabinets. I use these cabinets to store linens, candles, and anything else I can stuff in there! |
The cabinets over the washer and dryer have cleaning products and other misc. stuff in them |
Well, the utility room won't look like this the next time you see it! |
Oh my, Penny! What a big job to totally clean out a utility room like that! We look forward to seeing the results after your new washer and dryer are "in".
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it all updated; it sure looks different from 2012!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing the transformation. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteA big change ahead!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a transformation, Penny! I love the white cabinets and the big shelving unit you made really gives you so much more storage. Funny, unless it is a decorating friend, my other friends don't "get it" that we need cupboards to store all of our decor! Lol!! ;) Guess it's what we are into, huh? ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy painting and putting in your new w/d! Will look forward to seeing how your laundry room turns out,
Barb :)
Your laundry room was cute! Where did you purchase those pink hat boxes and floral materials? I can’t wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new room; I also enjoyed seeing the old pix as I haven't followed you that long. Love that storage space!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your progress! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeletePenny, happy to share your post at Share Your Style #238 this week (today). Wasn't sure what I'd share last week so that's why I didn't say anything before. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy second week of January! Hope your laundry room is coming along well.
Barb :)
