Creating a Farmers Market in my Spring Kitchen

I have enjoyed creating a Farmers Market in my Spring kitchen so much this year that it may become my all time favorite!

I used the vintage door shelving unit that H made for me as the bones for a market in a little corner of the kitchen.

The first shelf is filled with chicks,   green onions,  a turnip,  and a farmhouse water tower vase filled with spring flowers......

The second shelf.......

is filled with a metal carton of eggs and topped off with a chicken trying to pass herself off as a bunny....lol!

The 3rd shelf has a pink chicken wire basket filled with fabric carrots.    I tucked a little nest in the basket that twin bunnies have made their home.

One the floor,    I have a vintage scale filled with lots of spring veggies.....

Thank you so much for stopping by today,   I hope you enjoyed seeing my Farmers Market as much as I enjoyed creating it.      Come back soon!

  4. You clearly had a lot of fun putting your kitchen together...so cute...love the veggies sprinkled in vignettes. When I had a shop, I always had faux veggies about in the the summer, and was always amazed at how many teeth marks appeared in them...LOL. Fun! Hugs, Sandi
