I just finished decorating the family room fireplace mantel and can't wait to share it with you guys! Doesn't a big wire basket full of pastel Easter eggs just scream Easter ......love it! |
On the other end of the mantel, I have a farmhouse truck filled with eggs and a bunny butt sticking out of the pick up bed. |
The star of the Easter mantel is a big bunny dressed up in his buffalo check suit and is carrying an Easter basket with just one large egg in it. |
The Easter garland I have hanging across the mantel is a combination of garlands I have used in the past......the first layer is a fabric carrot garland that I made......then I tied a store bought garland of black and white checked eggs......and for the final layer I tied colorful Cottage style eggs that I made a couple of years ago. Here's a link to Kerryanne's blog where she shares a tutorial on how to make these sweet eggs.....https://www.shabbyartboutique.com/2015/03/cottage-style-easter-eggs.html |
If you look close in the mirror over the sofa, you can see a peek of the mantel in the reflection. In case you missed my post sharing the decor on this side of the family room, here's a link to it......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2021/03/spring-sofa-table-and-cuckoo-clock.html Thank you for stopping by....come back soon!+ |
