Are Squash Blossoms a spring Vegetable?......and a Tour of My Spring Kitchen

I finished decorating the last corner of my Spring kitchen and thought you guys might enjoy a little tour.
I created my last vignette for the kitchen in a standing white metal pot that has a trellis attached to the back of it.....wish I had taken a before photo,    but didn'!

In the "pot" I have a cute bunny sitting in a basket of spring garden vegetables....

The veggies in my basket are just the usual......lettuce,   carrots,   peas.....

But I have something growing on the trellis  that is not a normally a spring vegetable.....squash blossoms

I found my faux squash blossoms a couple of years ago in the 90% aisle at Michaels.     I didn't know what I could do with them at that time,   so the blossoms have  just sat in my stash of flowers.

It may not actually be a spring vegetable,   but in the really warm area's of the USA you might see squash blossoms in the spring....RIGHT???

Now for a Spring tour of my kitchen.....

I hope you've enjoyed the tour as much as I enjoyed creating my spring kitchen this year.....

  1. What a beautiful kitchen! Does it ever get used as it is so pretty and white? Mine would never stay that clean as there is always something going on in it.

  2. I have enjoyed your kitchen tour. Everything is so pretty. I know you cook in it but it always looks so

  3. Squash blossoms... well, I think they are just perfect for your springy kitchen! Too cute. You always know how to create those perfect vignettes in your home. Thank you for sharing with Whimsy Home Wednesday!

  4. Never mind about the season of squash blossoms, they are beautiful running over the trellis! That is a happy display,

  5. Spring is looking so fresh and gorgeous in your kitchen Penny!
Thank you for sharing your spring decor at Create, Bake, Grow & Gather this week. I'm delighted to be featuring it at the party tonight and pinning too.

It makes my day to hear from my friends!
