Front Porch.... Demolition Day!

It's took a lot of hard work to achieve the progress you can see in the first photo!

The second photo shows how the deck looked before Demolition Day.....

It actually took three days for the crew to remove the deck and haul everything off....

  

We decided not to replace the old deck but to leave the area as it was when the house was built...

The sidewalks were put in when the house was built and as you can see,   the porch was long and very narrow.    To make matters worse,  the builder put a metal rail across the front of the porch which made it very awkward to have any kind of seating there.    What now?   I have a big reveal coming soon!
