Autumn Wildflower Vignettes on My Piano

When I spotted this sad old piano at a yard sale years ago I knew it could not be restored (too many missing keys was only ONE of the draw backs)
I thought maybe it could have a new life as a beverage bar.....

My vision for it to become a beverage bar never happened....but,  boy have I had fun decorating my piano for seasons & holidays all these years!

The best thing I ever did was to expose the inside of the piano....so many layers and textures to compliment my vignettes OR just to simply enjoy seeing all the "works" that were hidden inside my piano

The top of the piano... (or the "piano mantle"....as I like to call it)  has a flat surface to create vignettes on

After I added a candelabra to the top of the piano and fairy lights to the inside,   my piano really came to life ...

I created a Fall wildflower/pumpkin/mushroom field on the inside of the piano...

The mantel is filled with a collection of fall prints and phrases....

I am decorating the family room for fall with colorful oranges, pinks, and purples....

In addition to my traditional fall colors,  I am using lots of white, some creams, and also touches of beige.....

How are you coming along with your fall decorating this season?
