I've replaced the Saint Patrick's Day theme in the entry with a Happy Garden theme..... |
After Easter, all I will do is change out the bunny pillow cover & put away the Happy Easter sign & the entry will be good to go until Memorial Day.....

I filled the picture frames with garden related Clipart that I found on the internet ...downloaded....& printed at home |
I love to keep the entry updated with seasonal & holiday decor......
It is so easy & quick to give the entry a fresh look pretty often by just clipping on new prints & putting out different pillows!

I think I need a Gardening apron....don't you? |

This print reminded me of how my grandma looked when she did yard work. Always a bonnet to protect her face from the sun.....long sleeves....& always pants instead of shorts! |

My grandma seldom wore boots in the yard....but she did have "yard shoes" that she would slip off at the door & leave them on the back porch..... |

I still have a few spring vignettes in the kitchen that I need to photograph & write up a post on....need to tie up that loose end ! |
Here's the entry BEFORE
and AFTER!

As soon as I saw the little icon in the link party I knew it was yours. lol. Soooo pretty, Penny. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAdorable Penny. You are so creative. Love your entry. Happy Easter. I am happy to feature your garden entry at Love Your Creativity.
ReplyDeletePenny, I was so delighted to have your company at the Easter Luncheon with Nana Diana! We were but four at a table for many, but our mutual love of PINK sealed the deal. I've been out and away from blogging so long that I've missed out on several years of your wonderful decor, and have been delving back and back to such fabulous scenes since (coveting all that PINK and LACE).
ReplyDeleteWe've had a fabulous celebratory time this LONG already weekend---Friday with a six-year-old neighbor who LOVES pink and pretties like we do---she and her Mama came for cookie decorating for a couple of hours. Then our local family was here for Easter Lunch yesterday, with wonderful tales of their St. Patrick's Week trip to Ireland. Today was just us of the house, slow and comfortable, choosing lunch from several days' yummy leftovers, a whole afternoon with just pre-views and trailers of the "new" Jane Austen series---our favorite Author---we speak often in Austenese, with quotes from all the books populating our conversation in our Southern Drawls. Then the two small neighbor children were invited over again for a few moments to receive their bags of fun things and candy. Lovely sunset on a lovely day.
I hope that yours was wonderful, as well. Looking forward to "catching up" on all your artistry and creative wonders as the Spring goes on.
Penny, what a gorgoeus spring delight your entry is. Thank you for sharing it at Create, Bake, Grow & Gather this week. I'm delighted to be featuring your happy garden entry at today's party and pinning too.
