Spring Basket of Bunnies

I kept out my Baby's-breath Christmas tree in hopes that I could turn it into a Spring tree
 planted in an Easter basket..... 

My tree is planted in a large oblong  basket.....  I filled my basket almost to the top with crumpled plastic bags... I topped the bags with a pink ruffled tablecloth that I had on hand hoping to give my  basket the "look" of an Easter basket

  I filled my basket with flowers, greenery, eggs, 
 & for the final touch I tucked in a couple of bunnies...

The crumpled plastic bags created a soft nest for the bunnies to lay in.....

My Mother made the crocheted Easter egg basket in the chair.....

I filled her basket with some small floral eggs and added a pretty blue bow....

I don't know what she starched it with.....but it has kept it's shape for many many years!

I didn't take a photo of the basket before I filled it..... 
 but it is similar to the one under the sofa table.
