I'm Decorating with pastels for Fall!

I put some fall out in the entry this morning.  I chose pale yellow and pink for the theme and, of course pumpkins.

This is the before!  I put the angel lamps away until after Christmas.. I left the ceiling tile hung on the wall because it would work with what I had planned.  ( I try to keep nail holes to a minimum!)

I started by adding a swag of berrys over the metal ceiling tile.  I put up our initial that I found at a yard sale for $1.   I noticed they are still selling them at HL for a lot more!

I strung some burlap ribbon around thru the swag and added two smaller rose swags to the top.

I placed some pale yellow roses in several places.  They are the same ones that I used to decorate the pumpkins, I like to tie things in that way.

This is my new candle holder that I got a couple of weeks ago for $3 at a yard sale.

This a a Yankee candle that I altered with some trim and a rose print.  I like to keep a candle burning where you enter the house.  I usually use a food scent, like cookies or pumpkin pie, that way it smells like I am cooking!!

I made some big fluffy pink bows to put on the pumpkins that had been on the formal dining room table. (I am redoing that table for halloween, so I took everything off of it)

This big pumpkin got a crown with a little glitter pumpkin in the center.

I tried drying some of my hollyhocks this past summer and I love the way they turned out. Love the spider on the pumpkin!

This is how the table looks as you come into the entry from the hallway to the bedrooms. The table is a drop leaf tea cart very similar to the one you have seen in the kitchen.  You can see a little bit of the formal dining room on the right of the photo .  That cabinet holds depression glass and my mothers wedding china and crystal!

I added a little glittery ghost and some French fabric.

This photo is from the front door. On the right, you can see into the formal dining room.

This is the wall behind the door where you can hang a jacket ..still warm here... so, I put a little halloween there until we need it for jackets.  I still have 2 more walls to do in the entry way so I'll post when I get them done!
