Christmas is for Kids....Big and Small

I decorated the formal dining room with the theme  "Christmas is for the Kids...big and small"

I  hung lots of Christmas balls on the chandy

All the chairs have their Christmas sweater on....This is our daughters chair...

I have found that this is a good way to enjoy my mothers Christmas sweater collection....This is my chair....Austin usually sets next to me.

I hung a Santa head on this chair...Aaron usually sits here.

The Christmas centerpiece is a vintage wood bread bowl...I have filled it with all kinds of vintage goodies

This little Santa is battery operated and does a little dance..

I added a few honeycomb decorations...

All the place settings are white ironstone...but have different place mats...

Some are old poster board...

some are vintage Christmas books...This is where Kyleigh sits...

I used milk glass tea cups and water glasses ....

Some guests will get ribbon candy and some will get Christmas cookies on their plate...

Vintage honeycomb tree with miniature ornaments and a cute little Santa..

Vintage cloth napkins and ornament place card holders...I don't really need place cared holders...everyone has "their" own place!

The little snowman cookie jar is surrounded by snow balls    This is where H sits....

I hope you enjoyed our Christmas tablescape......I will do a separate post on the "Memory" Christmas tree, the buffet., and the Santa head tree that you can see at the end of the table.

  7. Oh what fun and every kid, big and small, will love what you've done. There's no reason why we big people shouldn't find our kid self during the holidays or any other time for that matter.
