We have been moving everything that isn't nailed down (and some of it that is...lol)! We changed all the furniture in the entry way.... |
This desk has been moved to the sunroom, and replaced with the cabinet above... |
You can see the cabinet where it was before (on the left)...we took the doors off for a change and filled it with some Valentine treasures! |
I put a lit rag garland on the top of the cabinet...it was on the fireplace at Christmas.... |
On the first shelf I have put a sweet cherub covered dish, one of my favorite mirrors, and a small lamp... |
and a vintage valentine that belonged to my mother... |
On the next shelf is another cherub, a bundle of books, and a cherub wall plaque... |
My son and dil gave me this years ago...so sweet.. |
and another cherub! |
I displayed some of my doilies on the drawers... |
And of course, I couldn't leave the floor bare! |
Here is my freshly painted lamp, it was gold before... |
I didn't get a before picture of the lamp, but it was painted with this group of stuff. When we can't paint outside, we use the kitchen island. |
Don't you just love to move stuff around???? Makes it seem new! Can't wait to show you more of the new entry way! |

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
always love coming to see your wonderful home, full of soft and pretty!
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteYou have been a busy bee , haven't you?
Everything looks as beautiful as always....
You are lucky that you have room in the house to paint. My house is so small that the only place I could really paint inside is in the Den by the back door. It is actually 40 degrees here but we are in the midst of an ice storm.... Joe is not a happy camper as walking, delivering the mail is no treat today!!
Did you have your knee injected prior to your replacement? My knee right now is actually more painful than before the injection....
I could cry..
Hugs,
Deb
So pretty Penny!... love all of it, so soft and romantic!... I also love your new profile pic, you are so pretty... I also read that you are a retired State employee of New Mexico... my beautiful aunt, my daddys's sister, Betty Fiorina was Secretary of State of New Mexico for years and also Acting Governor at times... she passed away several years ago and I miss her... I still have much family in Santa Fe and Albuquerque... many of my fondest memories are from my grandmothers little house and cottage gardens on Don Diego... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteSo charming!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks like a little dolls house. It is so pretty ! I love the fairy lights too ! Blessings to you x
ReplyDeleteHi Penny I love your ceramic cats, how darling. The little cherubs in the heart dish is sweet. The question of the day is where did you get all the white angel wings? Thank you for always sharing the changes you make........perfect.
ReplyDeleteso pretty! I just love the swag thing with the fairy lights on the top of the cabinet. At first I thought it was all pink feathers and with a closer look I could tell that it was fabric pieces and I just love it. I also love the pink and white doily and fell in love with that rug!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I bet you have fun at your home!
It is like the icing on a cake - sinfully sweet and enticing.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love that garland!
