I was in Lowes yesterday getting some more paint (yes, H is still painting!) and they had the most gorgeous hydrangeas! I decided to use them for the centerpiece in the new spring tablescape. |
They were only $10 for a large pot of them. I will enjoy them in the house for a while and then plant them in the garden. |
I chose a full size sheet for the table cloth.. |
I made a little dessert area on the table...coffee cups and plates for cake after dinner. |
I have a cake plate that matches this server...can't find it anywhere! Does that ever happen to you? it's not lost, but I can't find it! lol |
I wanted to show off my new napkins (10 cents each at an estate sale) so I put the silverware in a caddy. |
Each place setting is different...the only thing they have in common is the sweet chintz party plates with matching cup. |
I have a set of 4. |
See the pretty napkins? I didn't want to cover them up with silverware! |
I used some of my rose dishes on the table... |
And a perfect centerpiece it is!!! Also the doily is the perfect touch!!!
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty tablescape! All of your dishes and tea cups are so pretty and so are the linens. I have the same 2 tier server in the last pic!! LOL!!
There are a lot of things that I can't find......LOL!!
I will be taking down Easter over the next few days as I am off....
23 degrees here this morning but a warm up to the 50's and maybe 60's is predicted the next few days....
Hugs,
Deb

Hi Penny, Your table is gorgeous and how wonderful you found the bag of treasures at the yard sale. It probably was meant to be that you get it since you appreciate the work and it is with a good home. I have all my grandmothers doilies and crocheted lace. I love it all.
