Bringing Summer Inside

When all the French doors are open in the sun room, you  have the feeling that you are sitting out side   We will enjoy a lot of the summer in this wonderful room.

When we moved here five years ago, this was covered porch.  H couldn't wait to make us a sun porch to enjoy year round.   He put three sets of french doors on the south and 3 sets on the east side of the house.  He also added a deck to the east side that we use for cook outs.  Right now though, Kyleigh has her swimming pool set up there...
I have my shabby flag hung in the sun room for the Memorial holiday...
We love to sit outdoors and enjoy the yard, so there are plenty of chairs scattered around...
This photo shows the south and east entrance to the sun room..

I have a cute little concrete pig on the right to hold the door open and a sweet dog on the left to hold that door open...

I love  red, white and blue flags...but the shabby side of me likes PINK, white and pale blue flags too...lol

I can watch Kyleigh play from my comfy seat on the couch....

    I wish I could pull off pink and white in my house, but with a house full of boys it's not possible. Your home is so beautiful I bet it brings a smile to your face every morning when you wake up.

    The vintage lawn chairs are wonderful! I remember sitting in my grand mother's metal porch chairs and the webbed chairs that my parents had. Whatever happened to those? They were light and easy, just some maintenance once in awhile. Your porch would be so nice too, especially on those lightly rainy days where you can be comfortable yet still out in nature.
