It is no secret that I love to go junkin' and today I'm going to show you some of my junk! Not everything around here is pretty and pink. Welcome to Penny's Junk Yard! |
Beyond that blue door is something that is not a pretty sight...don't follow me back there if you are squimish! |
Come on into the Junk Yard......if you dare! |
To get to the "yard" you must first go down a long path of junk...be careful..sometimes things reach out and grab you! |
the path is littered with old bikes... |
wrought iron....wicker...mostly stuff that will eventually get painted (white or pink, of course) and repurposed.. |
Then.......... finally ......you reach the "yard" ....gasp! How did this happen, where did all this junk come from? |
all those old ladders.... a little blue garden tin man... is that a horse shoe flower ? |
bed springs, our old mower, chicken wire tomato cage, the wuggy....a bucket of horseradish! |
are those body bags??? Scary isn't it??? (those bags contain the yard scare crows... packed away for the season) |
old garden tools...hay tines..cinder blocks, barrel dollies.... |
vintage mowers.. |
hay trolleys... |
old rusted heaters... |
even a porta potty1 |
metal baskets... |
old windows...even an office chair down at the end. |

When I saw the word "junk" at Share Your Cup's party, I had to take a look. Right up my alley. Love all your junk! I especially love the sign, "To the junk yard". That gave me a chuckle. Hope you'll visit me and check out some of my junkin finds. Blessings to you - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

I love your junk! Recently, I saw a Radio Flyer attached to an old Singer sewing machine base and they were using it as a drink server with lots of ice and sodas. With all of your wagons, you could have LOTS of parties!! Lynda

I am just plain jealous....I have never seen so much gorgeous junk!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tour! And, unlike our junk around here, yours is all organized and in one place. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a SUPER post, I've enjoyed it very much. I adore old wagons. I hope you don’t mind that I’ve reposted it at my gallery, “The Blog Post Office”. It’s like a reverse show and tell link up. Please let me know if you are not happy with that, I can always remove it for you. But I’m really hoping you won‘t mind as all the posts will be a gallery of wonderful items.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Victoria Lavender
Oh my! As soon as my husband gets home, I am making him check out this post. Then he won't think that my pile of junk in our shop is so bad! Thanks for the help, Penny:-)
