It has lots of room to store garden supplies...right now it is full of plants waiting to be planted... |
I hung a mirror over the top of the box..you can see our little cottage trailer in it! |
You ask...why does she have so many plants! Well, we have a big project going on in the back yard... |
They are going in the flower "bed"...can't wait to show you when it's all done! |
I forgot to take "before" pictures of the carpenter box ....It has 3 small boxes that H has attached to the lid to hold small garden supplies...I'll take a picture when all the plants are out of it! |
This is my ticket from the auction...it's #430... carp box $20 |

Love that big old box, it would be so fun to decorate around and what a great price that you got it for. Love...love bargains when they come around. Your porch area is very charming, can't wait to see what you're doing to the backyard.

ReplyDeleteYour porch is now officially beautiful - I would love to just sit and read. I am afraid I would quietly take that carpenter's box with me! Now I will not-so-patiently await the "bed" reveal.
ReplyDeleteAs always, Penny, everything you do looks wonderful. The box is great - love it as a staging area for your flower "bed" plants. Looking forward to seeing that all done.

Penny,
ReplyDeleteLove your carpenter's box, especially since I am a carpenter's daughter.
I can't wait to see your "Bed of Flowers"!! Thanks goodness I waited and did not buy flower this past weekend. We had sheet and snow showers yesterday !! So much that it almost covered the ground!! And the temps. never got out of the 40's! It is supposed to go down into the high 20's this morning. But then it will get warmer so I will be buying my flowers on Thursday morning...
Hugs,
Deb
