The studio is in front of the swing "vignette" and the potting shed is to the left. |
This cute little wicker table came from a yard sale ($7) and has a pull out for your keyboard. I can sit out here and be on the computer doing a post. |
This old electric typewriter came from the auction ($5). H has bought several of them, so I didn't feel guilty when I pinkquafied it! |
OK, that's where I'd be spending my day. You have the most beautiful settings around your home, I always love the peaceful feeling I get just looking.
ReplyDeleteE' bellissimo avere uno spazio così grande ed è meraviglioso come tu lo rendi romantico!Sei bravissima!Baci,Rosetta
ReplyDeleteLove you swing and pillows! Have never seen a swing like that! Did you make the pillows? So romantic and pretty! Nancy
ReplyDeleteI did make the two Yellow pillows in the wicker chair....they were only out for the party. They are normally in my front bedroom on the bed and I put them back right after the party...the small one is made from some pieces of lace from a dress that my grand daughter had so I wouldn't want anything to happen to that one....hugs, Penny
DeleteYour patio is such soothing, Penny! I love the typewriters!

Penny,
ReplyDeleteReally Beautiful!! Do you get a lot of rain? We have been having a shower or so everyday so I could never keep all those things outside for too long....
Hugs,
Deb
Penny, everything looks so pretty. What a lovely place to relax! thank you for sharing at TTF this week!
ReplyDeleteI love the swing and pillows also! Looks like a great place to relax and entertain guest. With all of those beautiful pieces , and noticing the vintage pink type writer which is awesome ...do you leave your treasures out everyday and through the night? What happens if a rain or storm comes while those things are outside, and you are away?
ReplyDeleteI enjoy having some things out as well, but I always wonder what others do in a case like that? :)) Thanks!
Hi Symanthia, The patio is set up for a party so there are lots of extra linens out that are not normally there. I live in New Mexico and we don't get a lot of rain so I usually don't have to worry about that..but I do have to worry about sun fading! Also, I buy most of my linens at yard sales for very little money and I leave those out all the time. Hugs, Penny
DeleteYour décor is absolutely stunning...and very romantic. You are so blessed to not have SO much rain where you live, and I guess that explains it...here on the coast of Sc..We have had a lot of little rain showers pop up..it really puts a damper on our beach plans. I would love to be able to have things in my yard ..enjoy them! I know I would:)
DeletePenny - Soooo pretty! Can't wait until we can finally relax on our back deck. Hugs, Holly

Just delightful. I want to sit and relax on the swing with you and gaze at your studio. Novel idea to paint the typewriter pink! Have a good weekend to you and H. too.
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful as always! Thanks for linking up again this week!
ReplyDeletePenny: Lovely backyard. Looks like a wonderful place to visit. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteOh Penny! I just love your posts! I know your photos on sight! Your personality and humor are so evident all over the place. There's a smile around every corner. Thank you for linking a couple post to my linky The POST OFFICE. You must live in northern New Mexico, that yard is so green and gorgeous. We rake dirt & gravel into patterns here for a fancy yard :(
ReplyDeleteHave a SUNNY & cheerful week,
Victoria Lavender
