The Studio

The studio and potting shed share a large patio area.   Sometimes it is hard to achieve a cozy feeling to the patio because of its size.     I have several little sitting areas and most of the chairs are wicker and can be moved easily to another area if they are needed.

We are finally finished painting all the brick on the studio white.  We also added black shutters to match the ones that are on the main house.
Before and after!
There are three sets of french doors on the front of the studio.   When they are all open, you can roam from inside to outside seamlessly (is that a word???)    H painted all the metal chairs earlier this summer....
in a mass painting!   (He actually did several mass paintings!)

Between the chairs ,  I have done a bird vignette....
with some of my porcelain blue birds.
There are matching chairs on the other side.    I bought these chairs at a yard sale many years ago for $4 each,  I  am still looking for a pretty metal table to use with all four of them.

I bought this mirror ($5) at a yard sale in Shallowater Tx  last Friday.  We were on our way to Lubbock for lunch and a day of relaxation!

You last saw this little wagon in my post about the junk yard out behind the studio....
H gave her a nice white paint job....     One of these days,  I hope to get one of those other wagons painted pink!

I hope you are having a wonderful day.     til next time......

  5. Penny,
I love those wrought iron chairs... I would love 2 of them and a small matching table for my little patio on the back. I think they would fit nicely there.
