Treasures at the Yard Sales

The yard sales in our area officially start the first of June. ....those are usually the best ones and there are lots of them to go to.     This year was no exception.....  I have been looking for a Swan soup tureen forever!  I finally found one...

her ladle is just gorgeous...

Isn't she a beauty?

I paid $12.

I also got some other great "loot"...
I fell in love with these sweet dogs...

$3 for both.

This is a victorian Christmas stocking that will be added to my collection...

There is about 2 yards of upholstery fabric that was $1

Loved this cloche covered serving tray for $1.50..

I found this ceramic cow for $2...
I may paint him white and add some frilly pink stuff to make him a girl!

This metal sign was .50.

I think my grand daughter Kyleigh will look so sweet in this night gown..

It has lots of girly trim on it...

$2 my sleeping beauty .

What is my new duck sitting on?  It is a gorgeous seat and tank cover for the bathroom .....$1 for both pieces!

We yard saled on Friday and spent the entire day at the auction on Saturday!  Can't wait to show you what I found...a little hint...I'm Coo Coo for Clocks!

Til next time...

I don't think I have ever seen a Duck Soup tureen before. So cute!! Love that metal Cow sign!! And everything else and Kyleigh will look darling in that night gown. I thought of going this weekend but it was in the 90's and so humid that I decided to stay home in the air conditioning. I am no lover of heat, that is for sure. I am saving up for a big Community Yard sale and flea market in the town where my church is on June 22. It should be a really good day because it is a really nice area.....
    We are on vacation now!!
