I found a milk jar wire crate at the yard sales over the weekend and decided to use that to display all the beautiful flowers from the garden. |
There are loads of flowers blooming in the garden now.... |
Including Apple blossoms...that's right...apple blossoms! Do you see it up in the left top corner of the photo? |
You may remember my post on the terrible hail storm that we had July 3rd...well, it stripped almost all of the leaves off of the apple tree (see how bare it is in the photo on the right?) |
The tree is now putting on new leaves and apple blossoms....in July! Isn't that CRAZY?? |
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! http://www.thethriftyhome.com/2013/07/197th-penny-pinching-party.html http://www.southernlovely.com/2013/07/show-share-103.html http://somedaycrafts.blogspot.com/2013/07/whatever-goes-wednesday-181.html http://www.733blog.com/2013/07/sugar-spice-174.html http://www.mostlyhomemademom.com/2013/07/show-share-wednesday-48.html http://www.the36thavenue.com/2013/07/best-diy-projects-16.html http://www.familyhomeandlife.com/2013/07/wow-us-wednesday-origami-owl-giveaway.html http://www.sugaranddots.com/2013/07/what-i-whipped-up-wednesday_31.html http://thestylesisters.blogspot.com/2013/07/centerpiece-wednesday-86.html http://ivyandelephants.blogspot.com/2013/07/welcome-home-hannah.html http://www.whitelightsonwednesday.com/2013/07/wednesday-whatsits-70/ http://thissillygirlslife.com/2013/07/two-girls-and-a-party-linky-party-no-27/ http://www.sew-much-ado.com/2013/07/we-did-it-wednesday_30.html http://polkadotsonparade.blogspot.com/ http://thetrendytreehouse.blogspot.com/2013/07/create-share-features-too_30.html http://www.creationsbykara.com/2013/07/look-what-i-made-linky-party-160-fix-a-drawstring.html http://www.everydayhomeblog.com/2013/07/homework-wednesday-11.htm http://www.crystalandcomp.com/2013/07/the-mommy-club-share-your-resources-and-solutions-106/ http://www.mygirlishwhims.com/2013/07/your-whims-wednesday-122-and-features.html |

Your flowers are just stunning Penny!... so happy you left yours to weather out the storm... they are thriving!.. xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Penny, Your vase of flowers are so romantic looking and your garden has survived the hail stone storm very well. It seems the weather has been topsy turvy in lots of places this year. Here in England it still felt like winter into June, we thought summer was never going to arrive. Your apple tree is very confused isn't it, as was our apple and pear trees, only the odd blossom this year due to the cold weather.
ReplyDeleteI did smile when I saw your sink full of grass..... brilliant.
Best Wishes
Daphne
Beautiful Penny!!! I wish I could smell them,I bet they smell so good.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!! Love the blooms and love the arrangement. Such a sweet little birdhouse too!!
Most of the flowers that looked like they died after that heat wave we had are coming back, slowly but surely. This week will be a nice week here with temps around 80 for a high and down in the 50's at night! I will be a very happy person!!
Hugs,
Debbie
