| I bought some odds and ends matching dishes for $5....the girl said they belonged to her grandmother and she didn't know where all the big plates went. I was glad to get a set of 6 tea cups and saucers that matched. They are sitting on my $1 queen size bed skirt.... |

| This cute pillow had never been used and still had the tag on it...got it for $1. I hardly ever pass up a chance to buy Fiesta ware...the pitcher was marked $5 but she let me have it for $3. |

| I went to my friends yard sale (she has cleaned my teeth for years) and she let me have this milk bottle carrier and the bottles for $10.... I was so happy to get the "friend" price! |

| The auction started at 10:30, so we headed out there after a morning of yard sale-ing...I will use these baskets in the studio to store supplies in. And of course they "bundled" a bunch of other stuff with them that we will donate. |

| I have always wanted one of these big globes! I've seen them at the auction before, but they went for more than I wanted to pay. Not TODAY....was happy to pay $20. |

| It doesn't snow much in New Mexico, but this vintage sleigh will be cute to decorate with at Christmas. |

ReplyDeleteOh my, did you ever find some wonderful things! I love the tiered tray and the china. I don't understand how anyone could let go of their grandmother's china. But I'm glad you will enjoy it. The milk bottles too are nice but my favourite of all is the carousel horse! It's adorable! Thanks for sharing and coming to tea. Enjoy your summer!

ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, what great treasures you found! Guess what? We used to live in Roswell from 1977 - 1987. I've been to Clovis. Didn't realize that was where you lived until I read one of your comments. I loved New Mexico - such a versatile and beautiful state!

Love the dishes!! The fiesta ware pitcher is a gem and I like the bottle carrier and bottles....
I went to Salvation Army on Saturday and got a few things and back to the one Yard sale from last week and she knocked down prices even more... Will be posting about it soon......
