It is the best and most moist banana bread that I have ever tasted. |
The recipe makes 3 large loaves...and freezes very well. |
I like to sprinkle it with some powdered sugar, just to make it pretty! Serve with a hot cup of coffee or tea and enjoy! |

A man who makes banana bread. Now there's a keeper. Deb
ReplyDeleteLindo o pão de banana, anotei a receita para fazer. Amei sua toalha de crochê.
ReplyDeleteTenha um ótimo dia.
Hi Penny!
ReplyDeleteIn France, we don't know banana bread, but with your receipe I'm trying to make it! I love bananas and I want to taste this bread!
Thanks very much
Hugs and kisses
Oh- I am saving this to try, Penny. My son loves banana bread and I try to do a new recipe about once a month for him- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHaven't made banana bread in awhile. Looks so yummy with the powdered sugar. I will be making some shortly!
ReplyDeleteHey Penny; Thank-You and H so much for Posting this!!!!
ReplyDeleteI must try your Recipe!!
I am surprised that you do not add any type of Nuts to your Recipe....
The Breads which I have eaten for most of my life always have Nuts, but then again I live in the South ;-) (We are a Nutty bunch, here)
Thank-You for Sharing!!! :-)
Penny!! Thanks so much for this great recipe that makes quite a bit!! I LOVE banana bread! My favorite indeed!! I don't make it too often because I am the only one who eats it. Joe is a very picky eater. I love that this makes a lot and can be frozen. I may make this as one of my desserts for when I host a table at the Harvest Tea. I also love zucchini bread.... could sit and eat a whole loaf!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Recently the Hubs and I ran across a (new to us recipe) that uses cream cheese...it is wonderful. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/creamy-banana-bread/ We can hardly wait till the bananas get too ripe ;-)
