Our flower garden is really starting to shape up! It looked pretty bad at the beginning of the season. The garden has been pruned, mulched, planted, and decorated (that's the fun part!)
The garden is the first thing you see as you step out of the sun room onto the back porch....
I made these glass garden art pieces last summer...they made it thru the winter and cleaned up really well.
The birdbath has a cute little turtle playing in the water..
and the bird feeder has a frog! Kyleigh has had so much fun carrying that fake frog around scaring people....she loves to scare her PAPA!
The roses have started to bloom for the second time...
I have yellow, red, pink, and lavender roses. We had a weird winter and my babysbreath died. I haven't been able to find any this year to replace it.
We painted the brick earlier this summer and last week, we added a set of faux windows to this side of the house.
H screwed a metal bucket to the wall to hang the water hose on and it also makes a great place to display a vintage sprinkler.
Here is the before and after picture....what a difference! In the next picture, notice how much we trimmed back that big snowball bush to the left of the fireplace.. |
