ROSES......have I mentioned that I love roses! Probably not over 100 times! Well, the yard sales were full of rose pretties on Saturday. |
There was a lovely lady selling her craft supplies, as she had closed her booth and no longer needed them. I was able to take a few things off her hands...lol! 4 swags..... |
a beautiful wreath...... |
and 2 rose sprays. |
What a deal....$4 for the box! |
These beautiful frames hold 2 hand painted rose sprays.....and they are painted on ceramic tiles....how cool is that? $1 for the TWO of them.... |
This set of 6 cups and saucers was only $3..... |
No chips or cracks..... |
I love the needle point pattern, |
The lady that I bought the silk roses from also had lots of battenburg lace. I got 8 place mats for $4. |
Rose full flat sheet for $1 and a pretty crocheted rose doily for .50. |
How beautiful Penny!... love all of your rose tresors, especially the tiles with the handpainted roses on them... so exquisite!... roses are my favorite flower of all, and you have such pretty ones everywhere... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteThaks for the lovely atmosphere you let us breath in your blog!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!!
i am so jealous! What an incredible find! i absolutely love roses, especially red and pink roses. My mother's name was Carrie Rose, so i choose roses because they remind me of her. i have roses everywhere in my home including Paint-by-the-Number roses, sheets, swags, a mirror, a paper-weight, and more. i would have died and gone to heaven to be with Mama if i had been at that garage sale. Also, i just love the placemats and the cups and saucers. You did good.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Penny! I need a whole set of king size sheets, in that rose pattern, for my shabby chic guest room!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd say everything's coming up roses at your house, Penny! Wow. And such wonderful prices, too. Loved every single thing you got. Congratulations! Susan

ReplyDeleteI would have bought everything too - I can't believe those prices!
At first I thought your lovely fluted cups and saucers were Coalport!
I love all your roses too - I'm a crazy rose lover.
You've photographed everything so beautifully too - it's an art.

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds!! I think those sprays were Home Interiors as I have a smaller similar one that I bought many moons ago from H.I. They are beautiful! The dishes ( I also have a tea cup and saucer in the same pattern) are gorgeous and I can not beleive the price for those rose pictures!!
You scored, girl!!
Hugs,
Deb

Fabulous finds and great prices! Love those swags especially, but everything is so pretty. I'd leave everything on the island for at least a week and make special trips just to walk around and admire and plan where each piece is going!
ReplyDeleteWow Penny...such fabulous finds. Everything is so beautiful that you got. I wish I had that kind of luck at yard sales, etc. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHello Penny, great finds at the yard sales! Yay for you!
ReplyDeleteI love everything you found. The rose/floral swag is wonderful! The tea cups too are very vintage. And I think your rose flat sheet could make a fine tablecloth for a vintage tea.
You are a lucky girl : )

Terri
