We finally got the porch and yard decorated for Christmas...better late than never....lol! The weather has been in the 60's for the last few days, so we have really enjoyed being outdoors! |
The porch has a pink tree...wreath...bows...and Santa adds just a touch of red! |
I put touches of pink all around the yard....and I love the "day time" look... |
But the yard really comes alive when the lights come on in the evening! |
The lights add so much warmth! |
Add a little snow...and everything is perfect... |
The photo on the left is last years porch....the photo on the right is this year. |
Left 2012....right 2013 Less is more? |

Penny, everything looks so pretty. The lights in the evening are terrific. Lots of work there but you and your honey did a super job.

Oh- it is looking very festive and pretty at your house. Should I send you a semi load of snow> xo Diana
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!! It looks warm there? It is in the teens here! We had 2 more inches of snow again yesterday so we have about 7-8 on the ground. However, it will hit 60 on Sat. with rain so that will most likely melt all the snow and we will sadly have a green Christmas. I always wish for a white Christmas , just a dusting on the ground will do so we will see if any will be left....
Hugs,
Deb
I LOVE pink at Christmas. You are so playful with your decorating and not afraid to take chances. I like that. Such a fun visit. You inspire me.

ReplyDeleteEverything looks so festive, Penny! It seems I put up less and less decorations every year, so it's fun to visit others who go all out. ;)

Very pretty. As I like pastels too, I love all the pink and don't feel green and red are necessarily the colours of the season. I'm sure there a few bloggers who will disagree.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Hi Penny
ReplyDeleteCan I swap your pretty pink tree for my Aussie tree?! I like yours better!!

Christmas cheer at your door and in your front yard! I do like the pink tree it looks so festive! Wishing you a merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Penny! I like the pink. I wouldn't dare decorate like that here. Right now we're buried under about four feet of snow. We get a lot of wind too so decorating outside has to be weather worthy. Thank you for sharing at my HOME and have a fabulous holiday.
ReplyDeleteChristmas blessings,
Sandi
