Peanut Patties for Christmas

It's a family tradition at Christmas time to go visit our local candy store and buy all kinds of goodies......mainly peanut patties.   Leslie Candy Co is known for their famous peanut patties...you may have even seen some for sale at your local grocery store!

Look at those yummy patties!
.They also have the best red //green chili peanut brittle around....a big favorite in New Mexico!
I have the table set for lunch and we will have our peanut patties for dessert..   It's fun to use the "good " dishes for  a simple lunch for H and I.     I have fresh poinsettias for the center piece and our Cherry & Cable crystal pitcher to serve our tea.   Our vintage 1991 Fitz and Floyd reindeer is joining us for lunch today......

For lunch we are having a casserole that I make with  chicken, green chili's, cream of chicken soup, lots of cheese and fried tortillas (like dorito's)
I have pink plaid place mats.... snow flake napkin rings...

I have layered white ironstone and pink depression glass plates.

On the pass thru, I have a pink Cherry and Cable cookie jar, and  crystal cherry and cable sugar / creamer.

Thank you so much for stopping by....wouldn't it be wonderful if you could join us for lunch!

Merry Christmas!

  7. I have a Mexican Chicken Casserole recipe everyone loves which uses tortilla chips (like in a bag for dips), cooked chicken, chicken broth, cheddar cheese soup, nacho cheese soup, diced green chilies, green chili salsa and lots of cheese.

  8. Simply lovely---like Wonderland to me, for we're very simple this year---just one real tree, and not a lot of decorating. I love your flair and verve, and will be back often to look my eyes full of your beautiful arrangements. I could live with pink and florals and soft whispers of pastels forever.
