Is your Christmas decorating budget getting tight???? I know mine is! I found a very inexpensive way to add some touches of Christmas to our home for very little money.... |
I was at the local Dollar Tree the other day...love to shop there! Anyway, they had these cute Nutcrackers.... |
I decorate with pastels for Christmas, so their color wasn't really working for me....but a coat of cream spray paint fixed that! |
I loved the way they turned a pale pink color when the cream paint was lightly sprayed over the red paint....or spray them heavier if pink is not for you! |
I distressed some of them....added glitter in places....used some little scrap pieces of trim to dress them up.... |
I was very pleased with the results! |
I filled some painted canning jars with free greenery from the yard..... if you don't have canning jars, any empty glass food jar will do....and they are free! |
I put some of them in the kitchen window ..... |
I had a coupe of shelves..... |
that needed just a touch of Christmas! |
I also added one to an existing vignette... |
