This is the view of the back porch from the greenhouse. |
H repurposed an old four poster bed to make the sides of the new porch. The bed was an auction purchase...$25 |
Some of the wood on the old porch had rotted places so he removed the entire porch..... |
H cut the head board in half and used the pieces on the first level.......the foot board is the second level. |
You last saw this head/foot board stored in the studio til he was ready to start the project. |
I showed you the mailbox in a previous post.....it came from the auction...$12.50 |
Look close and you can see Allie, our white cat, sitting in that spot of dirt to the left of the tree. She has laid there in the sun so much that the grass is all gone! |
The white wicker set is only there temporarily as I have wild flowers planted in that bed. If you look close under the settee, you can see them starting to come up. |
I also have wild flowers planted in the bed behind Allie, so the chair and ladder are only there temporarily too. |
We are still bringing the plants into the green house every night....it got down in the 30's last night...and will be in the 70's today. The weather is just crazy this year! |

This is so pretty!! I just want to curl up on your wicker chair and stay there, sipping my tea. I have to say that you use the perfect shade of pink - it is glorious! Not too dark but not too pale either. Would you mind sharing the type of paint you use and the color. Beautiful flowers also! Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteHi, of course I don't mind sharing! The paint is from Lowes....Utterly Pink...Valspar. Sometimes I use a little darker paint called Hello Dolly from Lowes also. Have a great day...hugs, Penny
