I have the small table in the kitchen set for me to have a cup of tea and a snack later this afternoon. H won't be here to join me as he has jury duty. |
I had so much fun going all around the yard cutting flowers. This year, I have a wildflower garden for the first time. I cut some pink and white babies breath for my bouquet. |
I found this pretty plate at the yard sales over the week end....$2.50, I am using it for my snack today, but I have plans to attach silverware to the bottom of it and hang it in the yard. |
I cut yellow, peach, and white roses......purple geraniums.....I even added some fennel to my bouquet. |
I will sip my tea from this Royal Albert cup.....I don't have the matching saucer, so I just picked out an odd one that I really like! |
The tea pot is a yard sale find....$3. |
My bouquet is a mix of flowers that were blooming in the yard....white dianthus, and I clipped some asparagus fern to use as filler. |
I have a few daisies blooming, but the stars of my bouquet are the gorgeous red roses! |

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bouquet Penny! I will be cutting one for a party I am holding in my garden on Tues. I like the idea of using Fennel. I have some dark Fennel that might look lovely. My roses are just starting to bloom. They took a hard hit this year. I lost two and had to cut the others back to nothing. Isn't it amazing how things bounce back? Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
