I already know what area we would move to...... |
It's a quaint development called the Vintage Township. I love the narrow tree lined streets, big lush green parks, community pool.... it's just a great area. |
It's a fairly large community.....about a square mile....640 acres....roughly! |
H was so sweet, he pulled over to each house that I wanted a photo of and sat patiently in the car. Oh well, it looks like his body didn't make it in the photo....but he is in the car! |
The yards are not very big ..... |
Some of the houses are large.... |
some are more like bungalow's.... |
I'm going to be quiet...yes ....me be quiet...and let you scroll down and enjoy all the homes.... |
These are the Brownstones....oops.....I said I'd be quiet...lol!!! |
I think this Lavender Lady is probably my favorite! |

ReplyDeleteI love it! I live in Arlington, so I may need to make a trip up to Lubbock to see this neighborhood. You don't see anything like that where I live. Most of the houses in my city are ranch style.

Thank you so much for stopping by and linking up to Wonderful Wed. Blog Hop. I love this post. It reminds me of my home town in Mobile, Al. I am going to feature this page on my Facebook in about 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThanks again,

They're all so gorgeous - what a magnificent neighborhood !
ReplyDeleteThank you for that wonderful tour! Those are the type of gorgeous homes I will never live in. I am alright with it now but there was a time that I dreamed of such things. I accept what I have now and I am grateful. I could look at home, decor, landscaping all day long and never tire of it. What a fun post this was! :) You, Penny's, are a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tour! It's making me dream about living in such a wonderful area too. :-)
ReplyDeletePenny what a dreamy community! I would love to live in a community like that. Thanx for sharing at THT!
ReplyDeleteP.s. I never knew you were a Tx gal too!:)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I just love Victorian houses... yes, that would be an amazing place to live!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so professional; just perfect. As for all the homes they leave me speechless. The community would be a dream come true to live in. Have to go pin now.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous homes, such beautiful architecture. We do have similar houses in New Zealand but they would cost you well over 1.5 million even if they are falling down (if they are located in Auckland). I have a small 1940's brick, bagged cottage with absolutely no street appeal whatsoever, but gradually I am adding it by way of a small garden at the front. It is far from finished but this is how it looked at the end of summer (were in winter now).

We are replacing the carport. I have to change the front door, tile the steps and remove the horrible security light. In its place I plan to put a carraige light. If you have any more ideas, would love to know as obviously people in Texas spend a lot of time creating curb appeal.
Lee :)
So many lovely homes, and your photos are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing at Fridays Unfolded!
