Vintage Sewing Machine Drawers and a Cuckoo Clock

I wanted to share a couple of projects that I have been working on this week.   The first one is a cuckoo clock that got a fresh coat of white paint.....

The clock parts were beyond repair,  so H took them out and I glued (e6000) a small china saucer in the hole that was left.

I bought this box of clock parts at the  auction Saturday for a couple of dollars.   H glued all the pieces together and made three clocks .

My next project is two drawers that were once part of a vintage sewing machine.   

You can see the drawers and the frame that held them in the box at the bottom of the photo.    H spread out plastic and did a mass painting with his sprayer...he painted tons of stuff that day!

After H gave the drawers and frame a coat of  white paint,      I added a white cotton rose that I had made....

then glued some strips of chenille  to the drawer frame.

I didn't have any drawer pulls so I just ran a strip of fabric thru the two holes where the original pulls had been and tied a simple bow,
I filled the top drawer with 8 saucers, and put the matching tea cups in the bottom drawer.

I have lots more projects in the works and can't wait to get them finished!
