I put a small round white table under the ladder to add another space to set a couple of oil paintings on. I completed the vignette by adding some framed pictures and a black velvet pumpkin. |
I used the ladder steps as "shelves" for some more paintings.... |
One of my long time friends gave me by this gorgeous painting the other day.....thank you again Margie! When I couldn't find a wall to hang this treasure on, I HAD to come up with another idea. |
The great thing about my "art ladder" is that I can easily change the paintings out and enjoy some of the art that is under the beds and in the closets. |
I spotted this tractor cemetery on our drive and couldn't resist taking a photo of it. I bet the farmers are happy that they have such modern equipment to harvest the fields with now. |
That's a really cool ladder!
ReplyDeleteThat library ladder is such a perfect solution to your lack of wall space! It is art in itself -- love how it looks.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful covered in pink roses :) The rugged verses the sweet pink is perfect to Me.
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteThat ladder was such a find when you bought it a while back and now it is proving so again and again and again.....
Love all the paintings!! So pretty!! and so is the way you displayed them!
Wouldn't you know it it? We have temps. on the high 80's and will for another week!! I am so ready for Fall but I have to get ready for a Craft Fair that I am doing in 2 weeks before I can start to decorate but look out when I do as i missed it last year with the remodel!!
Hugs,
Deb
Penny .... That is the greatest ladder. Would love to find one. It certainly makes an unusual 'easel' for displaying your lovely pictures of roses. I think the little white table looks great there too. Gives bulk to the open area and grounds the display. You have lovely treasures and display them so well.

It's a wonderful old ladder...I have an old one out back..I am thinking I might bring it in out of the weather before I lose it. Yep..inspired again!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful for plants on a patio too...which is what I am thinking of doing with mine. I hope it's still in tact.
