Christmas Mantle.....2014

The mantle in the family room is decorated in a Nutcracker theme this year.     Our  7 year old granddaughter started ballet lessons in Sept.  and she's smitten with anything to do with  ballet.

I have collected Nutcrackers for several years ....

Most Nutcrackers are traditional Christmas colors,  so I have had to really search for ones that fit into my pastel color scheme

I made a pink tutu wreath a couple of years ago and love to use it in my Nutcracker vignettes

The lit garland on the mantle is filled with ornaments,  roses,,,,,

Figurines from the Nutcracker,  ballet slippers, mercury beaded garland,  vintage balls....

Frosted poinsettias, 

We' ll hang the stockings Christmas eve....
