I love to set a pretty table for no reason......just a simple meal in the middle of the week..... |
These are my third favorite dishes.....my mom's wedding dishes are my favorite ...followed by the Desert Rose dishes that belonged to my Grandma. |
I found these gorgeous monogrammed linens at an estate sale Saturday. There were 8 pink place mats and 8 napkins for $8.50. |
I'm going to serve tea in this Santa FF tea pot. The other Santa is on the table....for no reason....maybe to keep the other Santa company! |
Both are just as cute from the back as they are from the front |
The mirrored shelf on the wall reflects the Christmas trees in the family room. |
On the bottom shelf are these three wise men... |
On the far right of the photo you can see the pass thru between the kitchen and dining room I have more of the nativity pieces from the auction box displayed on the pass thru. |
I had never seen a hand mirror nativity...much less two of them...lol! |
There were several vintage nativity sets in my box |
I put a very simple centerpiece on the table because I already had a live poinsettia plant on each side of the window. |
I have a Nutcracker tea set and cookie plate on one of the side tables.... |
I
A FF candy bowl and deer are on the other side table. I started to edit my pink tree out of the picture because I haven't finished decorating it yet...still needs a few more white balls! |

Penny, once again, you have created another beautiful space. The pink placements and napkins were a fantastic score. Seeing the little plastic nativity brought back memories of the exact same one I had as a child. Oh, it must be so lovely to enjoy a meal or a pot of tea here, especially sitting in those amazing pink chairs!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the entire pink Christmas tree. very pretty decorations
ReplyDeleteHi Penny first time writing you love this post. I have a concern for you, some of these old dishes contain some kind of lead. I usually set my table and pretty old dishes but end up with paper plates on top because of the lead content. That is what I was told, don't know if there is any truth in that. They sure a georgeous. Maria
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your monogrammed linen napkins are to die for!
